Getting free airtime minutes on a new phone

As a new customer you are in luck, Tracfone regularly has all kinds of deals on free phones and double minutes for those that buy a new plan.

If for any reason you don’t find a the free minutes you wanted, check for a bonus code or two, you can almost always find one that works for minutes.

I get a lot of email asking where to get free ringtones for Tracfone.

It took me a while to do the research on this one, but I finally finished checking around and I have bad news for you — it is just about impossible to get free ringtones on your Tracfone phone.

What!?

Yeah, I was suprised as well, but I did a lot of checking and it seems the only way you could get a free ringtone is to use a site that will text it to you but Tracfone doesn’t allow that on their network.

The only way to get a new ringtone

You’ve probably guessed by now, but the only way to get a new tone is directly from Tracfone.

They provide two methods:

1. The offical Tracfone.com website [recommended].

   You can browse and buy tones right on Tracfone’s web site. I prefer this method since it is much easier than surfing using the phone, and you don’t eat up any minutes.

2. Your phone. Depending on the model of phone you have you can browse the ringtone selection throught it and pay nothing but airtime minutes for the tone.

Unfortunately, either way you go, you will have to pay for that new ringtone

One of the best deals Tracfone runs online is their packages with free cell phones.

These are not junk or refurbished phones either, they are usually top of the line cell phones from all the normal manufacturers (Motorola, Nokia, etc). The only trouble with these offers is they used to be hard to find.
